Ankristina Nogueira
AnKristina Nogueira was born in Rio de Janeiro on June 7, 1958, and from an early age, she expressed her artistic sensitivity through painting. She began working with oil paint as a teenager and, over more than two decades, developed her technique with depth and passion.
In 1988, she moved to the United States, beginning a new chapter in both life and art. She got married in 1989, the same year she studied at the Boca Raton Museum. Even while working as a producer and entrepreneur, she never stopped painting, remaining true to her artistic calling.
In the U.S., AnKristina began exploring new visual languages using acrylic, gel, and mixed media techniques. She also studied under teacher Genie Appel and, in 1999, had a major exhibition with sold works and experienced an artistic immersion in Florence, Italy, under the mentorship of renowned professor Gianfranco Mello.
In 2020, she fulfilled her dream of opening her own gallery, but the 2021 pandemic reshaped her path. It was during this challenging period that the Heart series emerged — an explosion of colors, textures, and emotions inspired by the universal need for love, care, and hope.
AnKristina transforms moments of uncertainty into creative power. Her work offers visual experiences that deeply touch those who encounter them — pieces that inhabit both gallery spaces and intimate environments, always with the intention of healing through beauty.
Today, AnKristina lives between New York and Rio de Janeiro, with plans to exhibit next in Madeira Island. Her art continues to be an invitation to sensitivity, affection, and the transformation of the world through color and enchantment.
